I never new that a glow stick had two chemical
Glowsticks are a very interesting creation. Not using battery or power, it is created by two chemicals. These chemicals sit in two tubes, and when the glow stick is snapped it mixes the chemicals to create a chemical reaction. The chemical reactions can consist of colour change, bubbles or change in temperature. In this case, it sometimes can make bubbles, the colour changes in a glowing form, and the temperature stays cool. The chemicals are releasing energy in the form of light or a glow. This chemical doesn’t have to be in tubes it can be in cups, or any form of container. And being a liquid it moves when the container moves.

In a glow stick when you hear a the cracking sound when you crack a glow stick it is actually two chemicals reacting to each other and that is what makes the stick glow. The energy that it releases isn’t just any energy it is energy in the form of light. A chemical reaction could change the colour, the temperature except the glow sticks stay nice and cool. This is what I learned from the video I watched today.
How do glow sticks work without a battery?
They work because there are two chemicals that make it glow. When you hear the crack noise that is when the two have combined together to make them glow. When it cracks it can bubble and start to get hot because of your hands. The colours that it can be are pink/red, green and blue
How glow sticks work without a battery isn’t that complicated. All it is is one tube with a liquid that is inside the other tube with a different liquid. When you snap the glow stick the two liquids create a chemical reaction and change colour to create a bright glow inside the stick. When the two liquids are mixed together they might bubble or change heat. The main colours that the two liquids create are red, green and blue( the primary colours)
Glow sticks are awesome, I can’t believe that the cracking noise, when you “snap” the glow stick, is actually releasing two chemicals that form that neon glow every time you use them. The chemicals work together to create a chemical reaction that is displayed through a bright light. The two chemicals release an energy and that makes the chemical reaction, then they show it of by making a bright light come from the tube. The chemical relation can also change the colour of the the two chemicals. This all happens because of the two chemicals being put together. AMAZING!
glow sticks glow without a battery because the two chemicals in side the plastic tube, when broken mix together and great a chemical reaction it could happen through heat, bubbles, colure change in this case though through light. this is called chemiluminescence.
How glow sticks work isn’t that complicated. Inside the main tube there is another tube inside with a liquid, and in the outside tube there is a different liquid. When you snap the glow stick the inside tube snaps and the two liquids create a chemical reaction witch causes the liquid to glow. When the two liquids mix together sometimes they might bubble or they could change there heat. The main colours to be made with the two liquids are red, green and blue the primary colours.
Hey Guys, hope your having a great week! 🙂
Glow sticks are amazing when you really think about it. Glow sticks create a form of light with no electricity or battery. This happens by two different chemicals that are mixed to create a glow. We all know when you crack a glow stick what happens, well really we don’t. There are two separate tubes. one with a clear chemical and the other with a coloured chemical. When you crack the glow stick, the tube inside also cracks which creates the cracking sound. when it does crack the two chemicals mix together to create a spectacular glow. This is also called a chemical reaction. This reaction consists of Glow, colour, light, bubbles and change of temperature. these chemicals release a energy in the form of a colourful glow. As glow sticks are also a liquid, it will take the shape of any container or tub (glow sticks are a slow moving liquid)

How do glow sticks work without batteries?
It isn’t that complicated. There are two tubes in the glow stick, each containing a different chemical. When you snap the glow stick there is a cracking noise, which is the inner tube breaking and the chemicals combing. This makes the glow stick glow.
How do glow sticks work without battery?
Glow sticks work without a battery because the light that the glow stick produces is a chemical reaction that happens when the two little cilenders inside the stick snap in which release the liquids that mix and cause the reaction.
Glow sticks work without batteries because inside each glow stick, there are two separate tubes that both contain two different chemicals. When you snap the glow stick, it releases the two chemicals which form to create the light in the glow stick.
